For those who would like to stay in a tented camp, such oppurtunities are on offer in different parts of the state. A makeshift camp ofcourse can be set up almost anywhere but fully functional camps are located sometimes only in season, with camp cots, attached baths and showers and a regular kitchen to look after your meals. Some of them include are :-

Chetoli
Located off the Delhi - Jaipur highway near Kotputli from December 15 to january 15th. Offers oppurtunities for angling, camel safaris and jeep safaris.

Dausa
From October till April. Camel rides are an extra option.

Kheechan
From October to March for those who want to see demoiselle cranes and observe their peculiar behaviour as they are fed by the local villagers.

Manvar
On the Jodhpur-Jaisalmer highway with camel and jeep safaris.

Ranthambore
Located close to a river bed it offers alternate accomodation for those visiting the national aprk.

Sam
An economy shared baths camp near jaisalmer for those who would like to spend a night on the dunes.

Samode
A permanent camp has been set at Samode Bagh with a huge garden, the historic pavilions of the family retreat and a swimming pool. Closed between June to September.
